Earlier this week it was cold -- 4 degrees was the lowest, I think -- and now it's warmed up to 24 but it's snowing. It was just too cold to snow much before, though our streets were covered. And we're nestled in our little river valley. Up on the prairies all around us, they're setting records. North of us they're looking at 30 hours of snowfall and counting. They're almost at three feet now and wondering when it might stop. Hee! Everything up there has come to a standstill, which really isn't much fun.
I don't have much trouble with the snow as long as we don't get some ridiculous amount like that and we most likely won't. And even the cold was kind of interesting. I don't mind it so much as long as the wind isn't blowing. I welcome the snow as well because it's something new and interesting and it's pretty.
We're switching back to the repaired/replaced server Monday (yes, it did take a week ... why do you ask?) so that will be nice. There wasn't too much of a disruption since the wasted Monday but we keep running across little things that don't work right. It will be nice to get back to normal.
Off to watch some stuff on Hulu.
